RondelO™ IV-set adapter

Connect an IV-set that has Spike and Drip Chamber to the Spike Port below of the RondelO™ IV-set adapter, to achieve a full Primary IV-set. May be useful together with a “dedicated” IV-set. 

There are mainly two versions available, one with a spike on top and one with a drip chamber integrated with spike on top.

When a RondelO™ IV-set adapter with a Drip Chamber on top is used, there is a possibility to verify the flow of the infusion bag it is connected to. This may be useful when doing a “piggyback” setup where the Primary fluid can be verified to have no flow while the pinch clamp of the RondelO™ IV-set adapter is opened and instead balanced with Head Height Pressure between the connected Secondary line.

When the RondelO™ IV-set adapter with Drip Chamber on top is used together with an IV-set also equipped with a Drip chamber – a dual drip chamber setup is achieved. Then it may be possible to utilize all drugs when closing the pinch clamp on the  RondelO™ IV-set adapter.

RondelO™ stopcock manifold in a Primary IV-set equipped with Male Luer Lock Cap is a cost effective alternative for those who don’t utilize closed system valves or if you use a Needle Free Valve (NFV) or a Closed System Transfer Device (CSTD) of your own in your daily practice.
